Ghana Real Estate Developers Association (GREDA): Promoting Real Estate Development in Ghana

The Ghana Real Estate Developers Association (GREDA) is a non-profit making organization established under the Laws of Ghana Company Code Act 179 of 1963 as a private company limited by guarantee. GREDA serves as a central organization for real estate developers in Ghana, promoting the development of residential estates and increasing the stock of housing units to ensure adequate provision of affordable housing for all classes of the population.

GREDA aims to provide a united front in making recommendations to the government on ways of promoting real estate development and seeking solutions to the practical problems in the property market. The association also works towards pooling resources together for greater economies of scale in real estate development and ensuring that the products of its members conform to national building standards and planning laws.

Objectives of GREDA

GREDA has the following objectives:
