K Badu Agrochemicals Company Limited took over from K Badu Agrochemicals, which was established in the year 1984 by Mr. Augustine Kofi Badu, who is currently the Managing Director of K Badu Agrochemicals Company Limited.

The Company has its Head Office in Kumasi, the second capital city of Ghana, but has seven other branches in Accra, Takoradi, Dadieso, Asankragua, Akontombra, Sunyani, Juaboso, and Osei Kojo Krom. It also has agents and distributors throughout the country.

The Company basically deals with Importation, Distribution, Wholesaling, and Retailing of all kinds of Pesticides, Protective Materials, Farming Implements, Fertilizers, and Spraying Machines. We also offer machine repairs, maintenance, and servicing. The Company has a staff strength of 100 people. The Company’s Annual Import and sales are within the range of US$9 Million and US$75 Million respectively.

The Company is a member of Ghana Agricultural Input Dealers Association (GAIDA). It has won many awards over the years. The latest among them was the Bronze Award by Manhyia Palace on the 2nd Ashanti Business Excellence Awards in 2005.
