The Universal Concept of Mental Arithmetic (UCMAS)
The UCMAS program is a globally recognized and scientifically proven whole-brain development program. It is an ISO 9001-2000 certified program that promotes the education of abacus and mental arithmetic. Through visualizing an abacus, children can perform all arithmetic calculations up to 10 digits and master the skill of mental calculation without relying on modern devices such as calculators and computers.
Constant use of the abacus stimulates brain cells, resulting in the growth and development of the brain. The UCMAS program activates millions of brain cells, enhancing memory and cognitive abilities. Learning mental arithmetic not only improves speed and accuracy in calculations but also develops other mental abilities such as concentration, observation, visualization, imagination, and retentive memory.
