The national daily minimum wage is GH¢18.15 as of January 2026, set by the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission. Over a 26-day month that is roughly GH¢472, which sits within the tax-free band, so a minimum-wage worker pays no income tax, though SSNIT still applies.
