This is Wanda Plaza, located in Longgang District, Shenzhen. On the right is South China City, the largest logistics business enterprise as of July 26, 2022, at 6 pm. First, let’s look at the outside environment. There seems to be no one around on this Wednesday afternoon.
Longgang Wanda Plaza is situated at No.4 Exchange Square, South China City, Pinghu Street. The total construction area is 305,000 square meters. With innovation at its core, Longgang Wanda Plaza will feature the world’s tallest commercial indoor escalator at 30 meters, a 2,500-square-meter giant canopy, and a 77.77-meter-long indoor glass plank road. It is a multi-functional complex integrating a tourism center, cultural center, social center, and life center.
Shenzhen Longgang Wanda Plaza will also leverage technology to enhance life, designing and creating immersive scenes. It will integrate cultural tourism activities and intelligent experiences to create an urban micro-tourism destination. Longgang Wanda Plaza is expected to officially open its doors on June 25, 2021.
The plaza will include a world’s direct-harvest fresh food supermarket, a black technology smart living hall, a 7,000-square-meter comprehensive sports hall, the largest and most comprehensive 20,000-square-meter children’s growth space in South China, and the largest food museum in South China. It will gather new concept stores of international fast fashion and the highest-level flagship store of an international benchmark sports brand.
Longgang Wanda Plaza will focus on a global direct-purchased fresh food supermarket, a black technology smart living hall, a 7,000-square-meter comprehensive sports hall, the largest children’s growth space in South China, the largest food museum in South China, a gathering place for the night economy, new concept stores of international fast fashion, the highest-level flagship store of an international benchmark sports brand, a trendy light food and tea online red shop, an original design intangible cultural heritage hand-made experience hall, and more. It aims to build a new consumption scene without boundaries and time limits.
On September 17, 2021, Wanda’s first fourth-generation Wanda Plaza, Shenzhen Longgang Wanda Plaza, officially opened.
