Greener Hope Academy School
Greener Hope Academy School, formerly known as Greener Kids Academy, is a non-profit organization that was established on the 12th day of February 2005 by Madam Alexandrine Ofori Arthur. The school started with seven pupils and two teachers, with Mr. Charles Amakye as the headmaster.
The school day at Greener Hope Academy begins with an opening prayer led by Pastor Isaac Kwabena at 8:00 am. Over the years, the organization has made significant progress under the leadership of Mrs. Alexandrine Ofori Arthur. She has built a 12-classroom block, offices, and toilet facilities to accommodate the growing number of students.
Currently, Greener Hope Academy has a total of 376 children, 11 staff workers, and 6 unstaffed workers. The organization has also received support from Mr. Donkoh in its development efforts.
However, on the 5th of February 2007, Mrs. Alexandrine Ofori Arthur was asked by the family head to leave the land where the school was built, as it was on a family-owned property. As a result, on the 16th day of October 2008, the school was relocated from Kasoa CP to Odupong Ofaakor Queen City. The new location is on Mrs. Alexandrine Ofori Arthur’s registered land and currently has 242 children, 5 staff workers, and 3 unstaffed workers.
Unfortunately, due to financial constraints and transportation problems, some children are unable to attend any other school in the community. Other schools in the area charge school fees that many parents cannot afford to pay.
Greener Hope Academy School is committed to its aims and objectives of providing education to needy children, as they are the future leaders of the world. The organization believes that all children, including the needy and orphans, should have access to education.
