Admission Requirements
Applicants to GICS must meet certain requirements based on their educational background and qualifications. The admission requirements are as follows:
- WASSCE: Senior High School Certificate holders must have credits in three core subjects, including Core Mathematics and Core English, plus three passes in the electives with an aggregate of not more than 24. Alternatively, three passes in RSA Stage 3 are accepted.
- Other Qualifications: Six credits in GCE O Level, including English Language and Mathematics or Accounting, plus A Levels with passes in three subjects, two of which should not be below grade D.
- Professional Qualifications: Holders of HND, ACCA, DBS Diploma, Stenographer Typist grade 13, NACVET, and ICA GH are eligible for admission.
- Degree Holders: Graduates with recognized degrees are eligible for admission.
- Matured Candidates: Candidates must be at least 25 years old and pass the RouteInTest organized by GICS with a minimum mark of 50%.
- Foreign Applicants: Foreign applicants with qualifications equivalent to the listed requirements are eligible for admission. Evidence of English Language proficiency is required.
Mode of Application
Applicants can obtain and submit application forms at the GICS Institute. The forms are available for a fee and must be returned to the Registrar within the designated time. Lectures are conducted from Monday to Sunday, with morning, afternoon, and evening sessions available. Weekend lectures are also offered. GICS also provides private one-on-one lectures and home tuition upon request, subject to terms and conditions.
