LUEX is a UK pharmaceutical company founded in 1987 by the late H.D. Mohan, who also founded the Unichem Ghana Group. Unichem began manufacturing in Ghana under a LUEX licence in 2008, according to the Ghanaian Times. When Graphic Online reported on the Spintex Road plant in April 2023, LUEX Healthcare chief executive Sunil D. Mohan called it a milestone in the company’s partnership with Unichem. A March 2026 UK Ghana Chamber of Commerce report names Jason Nana Yaw Mohan as CEO of the group’s industries arm.
